This visa is designed for foreign parents or legal guardians of children enrolled in Thailand with a valid Non-Immigrant Education (ED) Visa.

Application Process:

1. Contact your local Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate: They will provide specific application instructions and a list of required documents.

2. Obtain Supporting Documents from Your Child's School: Your child's school can assist in obtaining documentation that verifies their enrolment and confirms your status as a parent or legal guardian.

Initial Visa Issuance:

The Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate will issue a single-entry Non-Immigrant O Visa valid for 90 days.

Extending Your Stay in Thailand:

Extensions for the Non-Immigrant O Visa can be obtained in Thailand at the Office of Immigration Bureau.

Required Documents for Extension Application (Originals and Photocopies):

• Application Form (T.M.7)

• Letter from the school confirming your child's enrollment

• One passport-sized photo signed on the back

• Passport pages: identification details, Non-Immigrant visa stamp, last arrival stamp

• Arrival Card (T.M.6)

• Each child's passport page (identification details)

• Each child's birth certificate (duplicate copies not required)

• Proof of residence: house registration or lease agreement with a copy of the owner's ID (signed and dated)

• Bank statements for the past 3 months

• Bank letter confirming a minimum deposit of THB 500,000 held in your account for at least 3 months (or 30 days for the first year)
